そこから感じるイメージは、きっと人それぞれ。 色や形からイメージをふくらまして、
自由に読める絵本をつくってみましょう。

好きな紙を選び、切ったり貼ったり・・・どんな本ができるかな?

『庭しごとの愉しみ』 山口陽介 /庭師

はるばる波佐見より、景丘の家のお庭でどんな草木が育ったらこの場に豊かな続きが出来るだろと考え、

植樹をしてくれた庭師の山口さん。また今年も草木の育て方、剪定のコツや見立て方を教えていただきながら、庭しごとを体験しましょう。

「木を切ることによって木を活かす」「切った枝もゴミじゃないよ」と話す山口さんと景丘の家の植物と触れ合う時間を過ごしましょう。

Mr. Yamaguchi came all the way from Hasami, Nagasaki Prefecture. He is the person who planted the trees in the garden of the Kageoka-no-ie, thinking about what kind of plants and trees would grow in the garden to enrich the place.

He will teach us how to grow plants and trees and give us tips on pruning, and we will all experience working in the garden together.

Let’s spend time interacting with plants with Mr. Yamaguchi, who says, “We make the most of trees by cutting branches,” and “Cutting branches are not garbage.

『でっかく書こう!墨!筆!紙!』 安田有吾/書楽家

筆遊びや基本稽古を通して、墨で書を楽しむコツを伝えます。

ひとりきりで書くのも楽しいけれど、いろんな人と一緒に想う、考える、書く、描く、見る、観てもらうなどの様々な要素を楽しみながら最後はみんなで、大きな筆で大きな文字を書いてみよう!

ドライフラワーに色とりどりの刺繍糸を巻き付け、壁掛けオブジェを作ります。
七夕も近いので縁起の良い植物を使用し、未来への願いを込めながら製作しましょう。

『ふさふさのスクラップラグを作ろう!』 貴山宏美 / 手工芸愛好家

着古したシャツ。穴が開いてしまったり、シミがついてしまったハンカチ。
アメリカのフォークアート「フックドラグ」の手法を応用して、これらを再利用した小さなマットを作ります。
少し根気が要りますが、作り方はシンプル。手が慣れてくれば、バスマットなど大きなものも作れるようになりますよ。

A worn-out shirt, a handkerchief with holes or stains. Adapting the technique of the American folk art “Rug Hooking,” we will make small mats by reusing such old items.
