着古したシャツ。穴が開いてしまったり、シミがついてしまったハンカチ。
アメリカのフォークアート「フックドラグ」の手法を応用して、これらを再利用した小さなマットを作ります。
少し根気が要りますが、作り方はシンプル。手が慣れてくれば、バスマットなど大きなものも作れるようになりますよ。

 Let’s make a fluffy scrap rug!

A worn-out shirt, a handkerchief with holes or stains. Adapting the technique of the American folk art “Rug Hooking,” we will make small mats by reusing such old items. It takes a little patience, but the process is simple. Once your hands get used to it, you will be able to make larger items such as bath mats.
