「男の子らしさ、女の子らしさってなんだろう？」

ドラァグクイーン・ストーリー・アワーはアメリカのLGBTQコミュニティーから始まった文化・教育プログラム。華麗なドレスで「自分らしさ」全開！のドラァグクイーンと出会い、子どもたちはどんなふうに感じるでしょう。誰もが自分らしくあることの大切さを体験できる、絵本と工作の会です。

Drag Queen Story Hour -Storytelling for children-

What does it mean to be a boy or a girl?
Drag Queen Story Hour is a cultural and educational program that began in the LGBTQ community in the United States.
How will the children feel when they meet a drag queen wearing a gorgeous dress and fully expressing “herself”?
This is a picture book and craft event where everyone can experience the importance of living as oneself.

Target | Parents and children between the ages of 3 and 8
Seating capacity | 8 groups, up to 20 people
Participation fee | ￥500 per group
＊Up to two children of appropriate age
Things to bring | If you would like to take a photo with the drag queen, please bring your camera or cell phone.

2015年にサンフランシスコで生まれた「Drag Queen Story Hour」は、いまや世界の国々、50都市以上で開催されています。
東京チャプターは2018年に始まりました。ジェンダーやセクシュアリティの多様性を楽しくポジティブに体験することで、一人ひとりの「自分らしさ」「自己肯定」を尊重し、「他人とのちがい」を理由にしたいじめのない環境づくりを目指しています。
