ジャムは、昔の人々が果物を長く保存するために編み出した手法のひとつ。フードロスや社会的孤立、旬を食する習慣から遠ざかった生活が目立つ今、人との繋がりを感じながらジャムを作ることの意味を考えながら、楽しく調理しましょう！
今回のオープンミーティングでは、ジャム一つをテーマに気候変動と食について、みんなであれこれお話しする場をもうけます。地球と自分との繋がりが見えてくるかも？ぜひ参加してね！

数珠とおまもりの専門店ならではの、気軽に身につけられる「おまもりブレス」を作ります。
ひいらぎのブレスは、仏師さん（仏像を彫る彫刻師）が、心願成就・厄除を込めて削った特別な珠を一粒入れて作るブレスレットです。
今回は本物の数珠と同じ製法で作られるサクラや縞黒檀といった木珠を中心に、いくつかアクセントとして色石を選んで配置するデザイン。お店ではスタッフがお仕立てやサイズの調整をしますが、糸組みまで全て自分で作り、自分だけのおまもりに仕上げましょう。

「刃物を使った事はありますか?」危ないからとなかなか出来ない経験を、安全な小刀の使い方を教えた上で、鎌倉彫の彫り方を体験してもらいます。
ブローチをデザインから考えて彫ってもらい、電動のこぎりでの切り取りまで行ってもらいます。
後日(2週間ほど)漆加工をして、金具を付けてお渡しします。デザインを決める段階で、出来上がりの色も考えていきましょう。顔料を混ぜることで、漆でいろいろな色が出せる事も紹介します。

After being taught how to use a small knife safely, you will experience Kamakura carving.
After designing and carving the brooch, you will cut it out with an electric saw.
When deciding on the design, you also consider the color of the finished product.
After about two weeks, the instructor will finish the lacquer and attach the metal fittings, and you will come to pick up the finished product.
